On February 26th, we are thrilled to announce that our XSTO Mobility Robot has been awarded the iF DESIGN AWARD 2025 WINNER! With its outstanding design and excellent all-terrain solution, XSTO Mobility Robot, a self balancing mobility device, has successfully stood out from nearly 11,000 entries from all over the world and won the 2025 iF Design Award in Germany!

The German iF Design Award, known as the “Oscars of the design world”, is one of the most prestigious awards in the field of internationally recognized industrial design. The jury, composed of more than 140 international design experts, selects products from multiple dimensions, such as innovation, functionality, differentiation and sustainability. The IF Design Award is a significant milestone for XSTO, as it recognizes not only the aesthetic appeal of the mobility robot but also its functionality and user-centered design. The award highlights that our innovations are not only visually appealing but also highly practical and beneficial for those who need them the most.

XSTO Mobility Robot – Self-balancing Mobility Device

Self-balancing mobility robot is a new type of transportation that can achieve self-balancing, aiming to create a truly barrier-free travel. After several years of design, self-balance mobility robot has combined the leading self-balancing technology and all posture adjustment function, breaking the traditional travel limitations and bringing a convenient, comfortable and safe experience for individuals with limited mobility. The advanced gyroscope technology and intelligent control system can adjust the center of gravity of the sitting posture in real time, so that it can easily cross slopes, potholes, speed bumps and other obstacles.

  • Automatic Self-balancing: Adopting self-developed intelligent control platform, it always maintains posture self-balancing, constant speed and full power, and easily realizes half-slope stopping and smooth starting.
  • Front Wheels Interchangeable: Different front wheels design meets different individual travel needs. Three-step quick interchange allows single person to operate.
  • Seat Height & Tilt Angle Adjustable: The seat height can be adjusted from a set range, which is easy to adapt to different heights of desktops and convenient for users’ work, life and socializing. The chair can be tilted forward and backward, with a forward tilt angle of up to 16° and a back recline angle of up to 25°, and the forward and backward tilt angles can be adjusted in range.
  • Foldable and Detachable: Quick disassembly into four parts, easy to carry into car trunk. No tools required, effortlessly disassemble and assemble. The whole chair can be folded and unfolded by one key, with five-link design. The armrests and backrest can be folded, which occupies little space.
